#LoveLetterToBlackWomen —

Bumble Valentine’s Day Campaign

Client: Bumble

Reach: 4M+ Views

As a creative and head editor, I helped bring Bumble’s #LoveLetterToBlackWomen campaign to life for Valentine’s Day two years in a row, a film that reached over 4 million viewsFeaturing Actors Keith Powers and Joey Bada$$. The vision was to honor Black women through the voices of Black men, offering letters of love and recognition in a world that too often diminishes them. Beyond editing, I shaped the script, refined pacing, and added captions, ensuring the piece carried a warmth and intimacy that felt both authentic and reverent.

Opening with a wide shot that slowly drew viewers closer, the story unfolded with tenderness, each cut designed to reflect a soft, nurturing energy. For me, the project was more than a campaign—it was a chance to amplify Black love and celebrate the strength of Black women, aligning my craft with storytelling that heals, uplifts, and creates visibility where it’s most needed.
